PART TIME – SPORTS COACH

Based primarily at our Shalfleet School but must be willing to work across the Federation

Start date 4th November 2024 – hours to be discussed.  Will consider job share

Pay range Hay Scale – 6A FTE £24703 term time only

THIS POST IS EXEMPT FROM THE REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS ACT 1974 AND THE AMENDMENTS TO THE EXCEPTIONS ORDER 1975, 2013 AND 2020.

The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth are looking to recruit an a passionate, experienced, enthusiastic, responsible and reliable Sports Coach.  We believe that a positive experience with physical education helps to shape children, making them more confident, outgoing and positive when facing the future.  PE and Sport is a vital part of our Federation’s vision going forward and we are looking for someone to help us to bring that vision to life as part of our community.  The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise working with children delivering a variety of sporting activities and show a commitment to the children for their progression in PE. Working under the direction of the PE Lead you will deliver high quality PE, school sport, after school clubs and supporting teams to participate in cluster and Island competitions and fixtures.  We are looking for someone who will promote PE, school sport and physical activity to raise attainment.
